Abhirath Reddy Dominates Sreenidhi University TG20 Awards as Hyderabad E-Champions Celebrate Historic Season

The inaugural edition of the Hyderabad Cricket Association's Sreenidhi University TG20 concluded on a high with Hyderabad E-Champions lifting the championship trophy, while several standout performers were recognised for their exceptional contributions throughout the tournament.

Leading the honours list was Hyderabad E-Champions captain Abhirath Reddy, who enjoyed a remarkable campaign by winning four major individual awards. The prolific batter finished as the tournament's highest run-scorer with 549 runs to secure the Orange Cap and a cash prize of INR 1,50,000.

Abhirath was also named the Player of the Tournament, receiving another cash prize of INR 1,50,000 courtesy Sreenidhi University. His aggressive batting also earned him the Super 4s of the Tournament and Super 6s of the Tournament awards, carrying cash prizes of INR 50,000 each.

Ajay Dev Goud Claims Purple Cap

Hyderabad E-Champions pace bowler Ajay Dev Goud emerged as the tournament's highest wicket-taker with 21 wickets, earning the Purple Cap and a cash prize of INR 1,50,000 for his consistent performances with the ball.

Tanmay Agarwal Impresses with Explosive Batting

EIPL and eleve Karimnagar Diamonds captain Tanmay Agarwal was adjudged the Gravton Bike Power Player of the Tournament after scoring 475 runs at a staggering strike rate of 195.5. His campaign included three centuries, making him one of the most destructive batters of the competition.

Mickil Jaiswal and Himateja Kodimela Shine for Khammam Aces

Anvita Khammam Aces batter Mickil Jaiswal earned two major honours during the awards ceremony. He received the Gravton Bike Best Catch of the Tournament award and the Incredible Moment of the Tournament award, along with a cash prize of INR 50,000 courtesy Telangana Tourism, for producing one of the defining moments of the inaugural season against Ranga Reddy Risers.

His teammate Himateja Kodimela was named the Gamechanger of the Tournament after an outstanding season in which he amassed 430 runs in just seven innings at an impressive average of 107.50. He received a cash prize of INR 50,000 courtesy BBG.

Aman Rao Perala Recognised for Fearless Strokeplay

Warangal Warriors captain Aman Rao Perala won the Super Striker of the Tournament award after recording an impressive strike rate of 245.4, the highest among the tournament's leading run-scorers. The award carried a cash prize of INR 50,000 courtesy CREDAI Hyderabad.

Young Talent Takes Centre Stage

The tournament also highlighted Telangana's emerging cricketing talent. Anvita Khammam Aces all-rounder Ved Reddy was named the Gravton Bike Emerging Player of the Tournament after claiming 14 wickets while contributing valuable runs with the bat.

Meanwhile, Hyderabad E-Champions batter Ganesh Gadugu received the Gravton Bike Promising District Player of the Tournament award after scoring 212 runs at a strike rate exceeding 160, playing several crucial knocks during his team's title-winning campaign.
